Picking up at the
end of season five finale, 'Surface Warfare', Harm and Mac are finally
forced to confront their feelings for each other when Mic returns to
Washington to be with the woman he loves. 10 stories.

When Harm returns from the USS Patrick Henry,
he and Mac find it difficult to reconnect with each other, straining
their relationship to the breaking point. Eventually, events
compel Mac to open up about her feelings, but Harm's response isn't the
one she was looking for and it pushes her into Mic Brumby's arms. This story retells the events of
the episodes 'The Return' through 'Boomerang II'. (AN - If I get a chance
to, after I work on DOALS and Searching For Sunny Skies, maybe I'll
finally sit down and write the sequel, Love In Flames, which will cover
'People v. Gunny' through 'Surface Warfare'.
